Description

Hencotes House is an early 19th-century building located on the south side of Hencotes. It is two storeys high and features five windows with late glazing. The structure is made of small ashlar stone and includes cill bands. There are steps leading up to a central door, which is flanked by panelled pilasters and has a hood. The door itself is a six-panel design, with the top four panels being glazed. Above the door is a rectangular light with pointed glazing. The roof is covered with old slate. Hencotes House is part of a group that includes Nos 4 to 20, with Nos 4 and 10 being of local interest.
