Description

This is a late 18th-century building on Market Place. It is three storeys high and has two windows. The front is painted brick with stone lintels and cills. A brick chimney is present, and the roof is slate-covered. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars. An early 20th-century shop front occupies the ground floor, featuring two windows flanking a recessed door, with slender pilasters supporting the fascia. A door leading to the house's interior is located on the left side, featuring six flush panels. A stone building extends to the rear, facing Back Row. The building is part of a group of listed buildings around St Andrew's Church, with numbers 8, 10, and 16 also recognised for their local interest.
