Description
22 Market Place is an early to mid-18th century building that includes No 3 Church Row. It has a gable end facing the street and stands three storeys tall with an attic. The first floor features one window, the second floor has two windows, and there is one window in the attic. The building is constructed of painted brick with stone quoins and flat arched raised archivolts. The first floor and attic have glazing bar sash windows, while the second floor has a two-light casement window. The ground floor has a modern shop front with a door on the left side. To the right, there is a quoined doorway that leads to a through passage, which is no longer part of this property, and this doorway is part of No 23. The elevation is similar to that of Church Row, which has a four-panel door to the right. St Andrew's Church and the listed buildings in the Market Place, including Nos 8, 10, and 16, form a group of local interest.
