Description

The front walls and gatepiers to numbers 1-23 (odd) in Denwick Village date from around 1840. They are constructed from tooled-and-margined stone and feature walls that curve at the ends and at the drive entries between numbers 13 and 15, and between 19 and 21. The walls have chamfered coping. There are square gatepiers with flat moulded caps at number 15 and at numbers 17 and 19. Additionally, there is a flight of four steps leading up between numbers 5 and 7. This structure is included for its group value.
