10/78 Walled garden attached to south of West Bitchfield

GV ll

Walled garden and gate piers. Late C17 or early C18. Roughly-dressed stone.

Wall approx 6ft high with steeply-pitched coping capped by roll moulding.In centre of east and west walls, the wall rises above a boarded door in bolection- moulded surround with hoodmould. In centre of south side gate piers with projecting alternating blocks, moulded pyramidal caps and ball finials.
