Description
A pair of boundary stones, likely from the 18th century, are located on the boundary with Longframlington civil parish, 460 metres north of Shirlaw Pike. These stones are made of cut and tooled sandstone and are rectangular with arched tops, standing 0.65 metres high. They are positioned on either side of a stone wall that follows the parish boundary. The eastern stone features an incised letter "M," while the western stone has an incised letter "N." The plain reverses of both stones face the wall.
