Description

This milestone, located on the west side of the road opposite the track to Corridge, dates from the late 18th century. It is made of stone and is painted white. The milestone has a quadrant shape and stands 0.65 metres high. It indicates distances to Newcastle (17 miles) and Cambo (3 miles).
