Description
The farm buildings located to the north of Shaftoe Grange date from the late 18th century and are constructed from dressed stone with a Welsh slate roof. The buildings are arranged in an L-plan, featuring a long two-storey rear range and a short single-storey cartshed that projects to the right.
The rear range includes a byre on the left with a boarded door, followed by outside stone steps that lead to the granary. The shelter shed has three elliptical arches, and there is a stable door on the right side. Above, there are two boarded doors and four shuttered windows, all beneath a gabled roof.
The cartshed features two elliptical arches and has a hipped roof.
