Description
This structure is a well or pant and drinking trough located approximately 100 yards south of Matfen Hall. It dates from the early 19th century and is constructed of ashlar stone. The pant is a low pyramid shape, standing about 3 feet high, with the spout positioned on the east side. Adjacent to it is a large stone trough that is set into the ground.
