Description
Number 2 and the attached shed is a house built in the early 18th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone and has a Welsh slate roof, while the shed features a stone slate roof. The house has a lobby-entry plan and stands two storeys tall with three bays, featuring a central door set within a 20th-century half-glazed porch. The windows are 4-pane sash types with raised surrounds. The roof is steeply pitched and gabled, with an old brick stack on the left side and a stone stack on the right.
Inside, there are two 2-panel doors and several 6-panel doors. To the right of the house is a single-storey workshop and wood shed, which was formerly a byre. This shed has a boarded door set in an alternating-block surround, with a lintel that is dated 1744. The shed also has a steeply-pitched gabled roof.
