NORTH SUNDERLAND SHORESTON NU 23 SW 9/187 Gatepiers, gates and railings c.60 yards north of Shoreston Hall GV II Gates, gatepiers and railings. Piers C18. Gates and railings early C19. Ashlar and iron. Tall square piers with bold alternating banded rustication, cornices and ball finials on gadrooned bases. Ramped quadrant railings, with simple pointed heads and dog bars, end in square corniced piers with ball finials. Similar ramped gates.
