Description
The gatepiers, gates, and railings located approximately 60 yards north of Shoreston Hall are listed as a Grade II structure. The gatepiers date from the 18th century, while the gates and railings are from the early 19th century. They are constructed from ashlar and iron. The tall square piers feature bold alternating banded rustication, cornices, and ball finials set on gadrooned bases. The railings are ramped and have simple pointed heads and dog bars, terminating in square corniced piers with ball finials. The gates are similarly designed with a ramped structure.
