Description
This is a former police station, now a house, dating from around 1840. It is constructed of ashlar stone, with a plinth and a Welsh slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The facade features rusticated quoins. A central entrance has a 6-panel door with a 4-pane overlight, set within a raised stone surround. The windows are 12-pane casements. A stone string course runs along the first floor. The eaves are stone, and the roof is hipped, with two corniced stacks rising from the hips. This building is of group value due to its contribution to the streetscape.
