Description
The United Reformed Church, originally a Presbyterian church, was built in 1810 with a small addition made in 1843 to the right. It features scored stucco and a Welsh slate roof. The building has one tall storey and consists of four bays. The later porches in the outer bays include 4-pane sash windows and boarded doors on the inner sides, while above these are small round-headed windows with radial glazing bars. The central bays have full-height windows that are similar, and between these windows is a small shield inscribed 'ERECTED 1810'. The church has a hipped roof. On the right return, there is a single-storey, one-bay addition used as a vestry, which has a 12-pane sash window in a raised stone surround inscribed 'ERECTED 1843'. This addition has a gabled roof with a corniced end stack.
