Description
The stables and former billiard room attached to the west of Eslington Park are a Grade II listed building, dating from the early 19th century and originally built for Lord Ravensworth. The structure has an L-plan layout.
The short front section, which is part of the house, is a single storey with three bays. It features a 10-panel door in an architrave on the right side, a 12-pane sash window in a flat raised surround to the left of the door, and a bay window further left with three 12-pane sashes separated by Tuscan pilasters. The roof is hipped.
At the rear, there is a long irregular two-storey block with a central passage leading to the house's rear courtyard. This section includes boarded doors, boarded double doors leading to a garage, and 12- and 16-pane sash windows on the ground floor. The first floor has four slatted windows and two later 6-pane sashes. All original openings have plain raised surrounds.
The building is topped with a hipped roof that features a central square wooden clock tower, which is topped by a wooden Tuscan drum, a lead dome, and a vane.
