Description
Callaly Mill Farmhouse and attached stables date from the 18th century, with the stable possibly built in the early 19th century. The building is constructed of dressed stone and features a Welsh slate roof.
The farmhouse is a two-storey, three-bay structure with a one-storey, one-bay addition on the right and a single-storey, four-bay stable on the left. The central entrance has a 20th-century porch that contains the original six-panelled door. The ground-floor windows are 12-pane sashes, while the first floor has 12-pane Yorkshire sashes. The roof is steeply pitched with gables that have reverse steps and corniced end stacks.
The stable includes two boarded doors, one slatted window, and one six-pane casement window.
