Description
The gatepiers, screen walls, and railings at the South Lodge to Callaly Castle date from the early 19th century and are constructed of ashlar and wrought iron. The structure features tall rusticated corniced piers topped with acorn finials. These piers are flanked by low serpentine walls that are adorned with hooped railings. The walls culminate in square corniced piers that have domed caps.
