Description

This outbuilding, located approximately 20 yards west of Buckton Farmhouse, dates back to the 18th century and was originally used as a tack room and bothy, but is now a store. It is constructed from random rubble and features a pantiled roof. The building is single-storey and has a 12-pane window set in an alternating-block surround. There is a boarded door on the left side and double doors on the right side. The roof is gabled with flat coping and has a small chimney made of old brick. This structure is included for its group value with the farmhouse.
