Tack room and farm range at Doldowlod House

The Tack room and farm range at Doldowlod House is a 2-storey outbuilding constructed of coursed rubble stone, featuring a square plan and a slate roof that is hipped at the front and gabled at the rear, with projecting eaves. The upper storey, which contains the tack room, faces a service courtyard to the north, while the lower storey looks out onto a farmyard at a lower level to the south.

On the side facing the service yard, the tack room has a round-headed doorway with a boarded door and a small-pane overlight. The rear of the building features two small-pane wooden cross windows set under flat stone arches. Below these windows are two round-headed openings with keystones, and lean-tos are present in the side walls. The side walls are also complemented by rubble-stone coped walls that retain a steep bank between the two yards.

The lower storey includes two brick jack-arches and a central cast-iron pier.
