OLD SCHOOL LANE (off east side) Hart Windmill, 60m to S.E. of Hart Mill Farmhouse.

Windmill, early C19, of random limestone rubble, rendered, with renewed cement render to north side. Tapered circular tower of 3 storeys. Doorways to east and west, blocked doorway to south-east and loft door to south-east side of middle floor. Window openings with brick segmental heads, to north-west side of ground floor, north side of middle floor and east side of top floor. Most machinery intact but without stones and remains of only one sail. Outbuildings to north-west and adjoining south-east side, are too much altered to be of interest. Dilapidated and internal features decaying, at time of survey.
