Description

The boundary wall to the west of the Church of St. Mary Magdalene is a Grade II* listed structure, dating back to the medieval period and built on Saxon foundations. It is constructed from random and coursed limestone rubble and stands approximately 3 meters high. This wall delineates the west boundary of the churchyard of St. Mary Magdalene, while its western extension marks the northern boundary of Manor Croft. It is also designated as a Scheduled Ancient Monument No. 17.
