Description
Nos 80 and 82 Cockerton Green are two 2-storey cottages from the late 18th century. No 80 has one window, while No 82 has two windows, both with wide proportions. The cottages have rough rendered walls and their roofs have been renewed with modern ridged tiles, featuring a rebuilt central chimney. The sash windows have glazing bars, with some replacements, set in flush box frames. Notably, No 82 has unusual ten-paned sashes and two mid-19th century canted bays on the ground floor, which include entablatures and bracketed cornices. There is one modern 4-panel door and one 19th century 4-panel door, both with blocked fanlights. These cottages are included partly for their group value.
