Description

House. Built between 1902 and 1904 by Parker & Unwin. The house is constructed of brick and roughcast, with a plain tile hipped roof and 3 brick stacks. It is two storeys plus an attic, arranged in an L-plan. All windows are square leaded casements. The south front features an angled entrance with a recessed doorway, an original door and a small single side light to the left. To the left of the entrance is a single casement window. Above, there are four small casements. The right wing has two casements to each floor, while the left wing has a single casement on the lower floor and two casements above. The east front of the right wing has two casements on the lower floor and four casements above. The left side of the south front has three small casements to the eaves, and above, a two-light hipped dormer at the apex of the hipped roof. The main west front has a central two-storey bow window with seven casements to each floor, topped with a parapet and rear gable containing a single casement. Either side, on the ground floor, are cross corner, canted bay windows each with six casements. Above those, on either side, are three casements. The interior was not inspected.
