Description
The building is a dovecote and an attached single-storey range of sheds and byres, dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of squared limestone. The dovecote features a renewed pantiled roof with flagged eaves and a renewed wooden glover. The shed range has a corrugated-asbestos roof. The dovecote is large and has a square plan with two storeys. It includes a pair of boarded doors set in a large semicircular archway with flush voussoirs, along with a boarded opening above. The pyramidal roof is topped by a square-plan glover with a pyramidal cap. To the right, there is a long single-storey range that has undergone alterations, including two blocked doors and a round-arched doorway to the left. Additionally, there is a small round-arched niche, possibly a beebole, to the right. The single-storey range is included for its group value.
