Description

The spring spout and trough located north of High Bishopley farmhouse is dated 1801 and features the initials IR on the front of the trough. It is made of sandstone and consists of a scooped stone channel set in a dry-stone wall above a rectangular stone trough. The front rim of the trough has a slight scoop, and there is an inscription on the front face.
