Description
This is an outbuilding located east of High Bishopley farmhouse, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of sandstone rubble and features a graduated stone roof with some areas of inserted glass. The building is single-storey and consists of one bay. There are vent slits in a boarded door positioned to the right of the center, which is set under thin stone lintels. The rubble wall, which has irregular coping, forms two sides of an enclosure at the front, while the third side is bordered by a 20th-century fence. The interior has not been inspected, but it is possible that it may serve as a large earth-closet house.
