Description
Aberfoyle is a house dating from the early 19th century, constructed from sandstone ashlar with a plinth and quoins. It features a Welsh slate roof and a yellow brick chimney set on a rendered plinth. The building has two storeys and two windows. To the left, there is a passage door with raised stone surrounds, which is covered with hardboard, and to the right of the centre is a six-panel door with similar stone surrounds. The plain sash windows to the right and on the first floor also have raised stone surrounds and projecting stone sills. The taller paired sashes on the ground floor to the left have a flat stone lintel and a projecting stone sill. The eaves are supported by cast-iron gutter brackets, and there is a ridge chimney located to the right of centre. This building is included for its group value.
