15/29 Front walls and gatepiers to Heatherlands, Gillbeck House and The Yews

GV II

Garden walls and gatepiers. C18, probably altered in earlier C20. Squared stone with cut dressings. Low walls with chamfered coping, the original railings removed. The front wall to Heatherlands has a gateway with low monolith gabled piers, and end piers with block caps. Gillbeck House has a gateway with taller piers and banded pyramidal caps. The Yews has a gateway with rusticated piers and block caps carrying ball finials; drive entrance to right has smaller but similar piers set on wall.
