Description
Elim Cottage is a house that likely dates from the 17th century and was raised in height during the 18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble, which is smaller on the ground floor, featuring roughly-shaped quoins and cut dressings. The roof is made of graduated stone slate and has a brick chimney. The building has two storeys and two bays. There is a left-of-centre five-panel door set within an architrave. The cottage includes late 19th-century canted bays with flat leaded tops, and above these are four-pane sash windows in stepped stone surrounds with slightly projecting sills. A chimney is located at the right end of the building.
