Description
The wall enclosing the garden of the former rectory and serving as a retaining wall for the ground to the west of the rectory is located on the east side of the former garden in Stanhope. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features a ramped flat stone coping. The retaining wall includes a keyed arched recess with voussoirs.
