Description

The Maypole on the village green in Ovington was erected in 1897 to commemorate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee. It is made of timber and features iron fittings. The pole stands approximately 15 meters high and includes minor fittings as well as a fox weather-vane. This structure is included in the listing for its historical interest.
