Description
The pant located in the center of The Green in West Auckland was built in 1848 and is designed in the Gothic Revival style. It is constructed of ashlar and features a cast-iron pump and a stone-flagged roof. The structure has a chamfered plinth supporting a high square column with water-leaf angle shafts. It is topped with a concave cornice and a pyramidal hipped roof that has a roll-moulded base leading to a bud finial. The cast-iron pump is situated on the west side of the pant.
