Description

The Pant on the village green in Barningham, dated 1866, is constructed from rough-faced stone with cut dressings and features rock-faced and margined slab coping. It has an open Gothic arch with a carved keystone, and a datestone above that is partially obscured by a wrought-iron lamp bracket. The structure is topped with a coped gable that includes moulded footstones and a finial. On each outer side, there is a domed niche that holds a tap, with a projecting moulded bowl beneath.
