Description

The front wall and gatepiers to Barningham Village School were built around 1875. They are made of squared rubble with cut dressings. The low wall features chamfered coping and once had railings on top. There is a gateway near each end, marked by monolith square piers that have stop-chamfered corners and pyramidal caps. Each side of the wall has a short return of similar construction. This structure is included for its group value.
