Description

The Eden Arms is an 18th-century public house, with alterations from the 19th century. It is constructed of painted rough render with a painted ashlar plinth and dressings. The roof is tiled, with brick chimneys. The building is three storeys high and has a three-bay facade with a single bay to the right, the right bay being the widest. The central bay of the three bays on the left has a renewed four-panel door, framed by pilasters and an entablature with a bracketed cornice. A renewed wide window is located to the right of the door. All other windows are renewed 4-pane sashes, with projecting stone sills; those on the ground floor and first floor have flat stone lintels, while the second-floor windows are smaller. Chimneys are located on the ridge at the ends of the building and to the right of the door.
