Description
The garden walls and piers in front of numbers 56 and 57, known as The Old Hall, date from the early 19th century for the front wall, while the side walls are likely from the 17th century with 19th-century coping. The walls are constructed from coursed squared stone and brick, featuring ashlar copings and ashlar piers. The front wall includes chamfered stone coping and has two wide entrances created by chamfered square piers with chamfered plinths. The copings on the right pair overhang and have low pyramidal tops, while the left pair is missing copings. The return walls are made of thin bricks topped with stone gabled coping.
