Description

This guidepost, located at the south end of Bearpark Colliery Road, is likely from around 1860 and is made of cast iron. It stands approximately 2.5 meters high and features a tapered design topped with a rounded spiked finial above a moulding. On each side, there is a finger-shaped indicator with a low relief pointing hand and the inscription 'TO BEARPARK COLLIERY', which is bolted to a flange.
