Description

LUNEDALE B6276, Bowbank NY 92 SW (North side) West Wood Farmhouse 9/110 II GV Farmhouse. C18 right section with later alterations; left section dated 1811 on door Lintel. Right section: rubble with stone-flagged roof. Left section: coursed rubble with stone-flagged roof. Stone chimney stacks.

2-storey, 3-bay right section with flush quoins-to right. Central 4-panel door and 5-pane overlight in flush surround. Blank bay above doorway; flanking replaced casements with flush lintels and projecting chamfered sills. Low- pitched roof. End stacks with top bands and water tables.

Lower 2-storey,2-bay left section. Left bay, formerly a stable, has boarded door with flush jambs and rough stone hood. Central replaced casement. Boarded door to right with lintel inscribed: T.B A 1811. 2 replaced casements above. Roof with coped left gable. Rebuilt left end stack with top band and water table.

9-pane sash, in front of blocked fire window, on left return.

Continuous one-storey rear outshut of 2 builds.
