Description
The outbuilding west of Board Cottage is a mid-19th century structure that now serves as a byre and loft. It is constructed from coursed sandstone rubble, featuring quoins and ashlar dressings, and has a Welsh slate roof with a brick chimney. The building is two storeys high and consists of three bays. The central entrance is a boarded Dutch door, flanked by wide stable windows that have thin wooden lintels and projecting sills. On the first floor, there is a central boarded loft door, with a window to the right, both of which have flat stone lintels and projecting stone sills. The roof includes a chimney at the right end. This outbuilding is included for its group value.
