Description
Low Woodside Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse that has been altered in the 19th century and is now a private house. It is constructed from thinly-rendered sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings and features a Welsh slate roof with ashlar chimneys. The building has two storeys and three irregular bays. There is a chamfered stone surround to a boarded door located in the second bay, and circa 1880 sash windows with flat stone lintels and projecting stone sills above the door in the outer bays. The right end and left end of the ground floor have blank cruciform slits, while the left side of the first floor has blocked oval lights. Additionally, there are blocked stone-mullioned windows at the extreme left. The farmhouse has end chimneys. The interior has not been inspected.
