Description

The water pump and trough, located 6 meters north of Greenside, were built in 1866, as indicated by the plaque on the front. The pump is made of cast iron and housed in a wooden case with a sloping top. It features a cylindrical front spout and an S-curved side handle. The lead plaque displays a relief of a lion along with the date 1866. The trough is shallow and has a square plan.
