Description

This water pump and trough, located in Newark on Trent, dates from the mid-19th century. The pump features an obelisk-shaped, panelled cast iron case with a renewed spout, and it displays the Town Arms above. To the right, there is a curved wrought iron handle, while roundels adorned with wreaths are positioned on the other sides. The stone trough has been renewed.
