Description
No. 10 Chain Lane is a mid-18th century building that has been altered in the late 20th century. Originally constructed of brick, it is now rendered and colorwashed, topped with a pantile roof and featuring a single gable stack. The building stands two storeys high and has three windows across its front. On the left side, there are two 2-light casement windows, while on the right side, there is a square wooden oriel window, all of which are from the 20th century. Below, on the left, is a shopfront with a single window and a door to the right, alongside a larger 6-light shop window on the right. This building is included for its group value.
