NEWBIGGIN B6277 NY 82 NE (North side) 13/46 Milestone 100 metres east of Ettersgill Bridge GV II Milestone. Circa 1830 for London Lead Company. Painted ashlar slab c.0.8 metre high with slightly-chamfered round top. ALSTON 18 and MIDDLETON 3 incised and painted in black Roman capitals on front.
