FOREST AND FRITH B6277 (North side) NY83SW 5/42 Milestone 200 metres South of Redwing plantation II Milestone. Probably c. 1830 for London Lead Company. Painted ashlar slab c. 0.9 metre high with slightly chamfered round top. ALSTON 14 MIDDLETON 8 painted in black Roman capitals on front, over incised O.S. bench mark.
