Description

No. 2 Front Street is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It has a limewashed exterior with painted ashlar dressings and a pantiled roof featuring a rendered chimney and a stone ridge. The building stands three storeys high and has two bays. On the right side, there is a boarded door with an overlight, while the left side features a 20th-century three-light transomed window. The first floor has plain sash windows with projecting stone sills, and the second floor has small square windows. A banded chimney is located at the left end of the roof, which has slightly swept eaves. This house is included for its group value with other nearby structures.
