Description
Fell Cottage is an early 18th-century house located in Stanhope Westgate. It is constructed of coursed sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings and some areas of render featuring fluorspar galletting. The building has a stone-flagged roof and stands two storeys tall with two bays. There is a boarded door positioned to the right of centre. To the left, there is a low square window that has been renewed, while to the right, there is a renewed 12-pane sash window. Above these, late 19th-century sash windows can be found, all set beneath flat stone lintels. The roof features a low square chimney at the left end, which has a top string.
