Description
The Cottage is a house that dates from the 18th century or earlier. It features roughly-coursed, thick sandstone rubble walls, with the left end rendered. The roof is made of stone flags. The building is two storeys high and has two windows. There is a modern door located beneath a slightly-projecting drip-lintel. The windows include small casements and a Yorkshire sash, with the ground-floor left window positioned under a through drip. All windows are in old openings, except for the ground-floor right window, which has been enlarged to accommodate a fire window. The house has end chimneys that include dripstones.
