Description
The Middle Level Mine Shop is a lead mine shop, likely used as a workshop, built around 1868 for the Blackett-Beaumont Lead Mining Company. It is constructed from coursed sandstone rubble and features a stone-flagged roof. The building has two low storeys and is divided into three bays. There is a Dutch door located to the right of the centre, with two windows to the left and one window above the door, all of which have rough stone lintels. The ground-floor windows are empty, while the first-floor window is fitted with a shutter. The roof includes a chimney on the left end, which is part of an external stack.
