Description

The Greenlaws West Level Portal Arch at Middle Level Mine is a portal arch for a lead mine level, built around 1860. It is constructed from coursed squared sandstone rubble and features a U-plan design. The retaining wall is approximately 2 meters high and includes a partly-blocked arch, with left and right returns that extend onto the slope of the hill behind.
