Description

The bridge over the River Roding, located on London Road in Barking, was built in 1904. It features cast iron parapets, each consisting of nine panels designed in a quatrefoil pattern, with infilled centers decorated by rosettes. The central panel displays the date of construction and the Essex coat of arms. The bridge is constructed with red brick, featuring abutments that have recessed panels and twin piers topped with stone coping.
